Spherical Organization

A sphere: whole, unified, integrated. We took that form and molded DeNA around it, giving birth to our signature spherical organization structure - our fundamental principle. We believe each employee has their own surface area that is theirs to nurture and grow. Even new team members have complete ownership of their "surface area of expertise" without standing in someone else's shadow.

Growth = More Responsibility

For those who are a part of our sphere, growth means gaining responsibility over an even bigger surface area. We want to help you grow professionally by providing you with opportunities to take the lead in projects and small teams. When someone at DeNA broadens their area of responsibility, they not only expand their own surface area, but the surface area of the entire sphere - contributing to the growth of the whole.

Small Teams, Individual Impact

As DeNA grows, we need to be careful to limit the development of a vertical hierarchy (stratification) among employees and the budding feeling that someone else will take care of the work for you. We aren't on a voyage on a luxury liner, waiting to be pampered. Rather, in small teams, we each hold an oar in our hands, and it's our job to propel the ship forward to new adventures and challenges.
