Take a Look at DeNA's Brand-new Headquarters

With our rapidly growing team of more than 1,600 employees worldwide, we have relocated DeNA's global headquarters today to Shibuya Hikarie, a brand-new 34-story skyscraper in the trend-setting district of Shibuya in Tokyo.

Shibuya Hikarie

DeNA occupies the 21st - 26th floors, where we overlook a panoramic view of the thriving town of Shibuya, including the famous Shibuya scramble crossing. Shibuya Hikarie itself is a multipurpose complex with a super-urban feel, and includes a musical theater spanning from 11th to 16th floors, restaurants and coffee shops on 6th and 7th floors, a department store from the 3rd floor basement to the 5th floor, and more.

What makes this location even more special is that it's directly accessible and only a minute's walk from the Shibuya Station through a sky bridge - no more worrying about rain! Here's our address for the new headquarters:

DeNA Co., Ltd.
Shibuya Hikarie 2-21-1
Shibuya, Shibuya-ku
Tokyo 150-8510 Japan

Going Borderless

To encourage employees' creative output and candid communication, DeNA's new Shibuya office has few walls but many "quick discussion" spaces with dry-erase boards, many of them with the improvement of being right next to the windows to take advantage of the view over Tokyo. We also have sound-proof simultaneous interpretation booths attached to some of our conference rooms to facilitate communication across languages as well as borders.

Sakura Cafe

Another highlight of the new office is Sakura Café, named after our founder's dog. Employees can enjoy freshly-brewed coffee and freshly-baked bread from the kitchen in addition to a lunch buffet and Japanese and Chinese style lunch boxes, which will be free-of-charge starting in late May. No cash is accepted in Sakura Café, as we are instead opting to focus on supporting Japan's convenient, well-developed system of prepaid cash cards and contactless IC chips incorporated into mobile phones.

Orchids, orchids and more orchids

Following the Japanese business tradition of sending orchids for celebration, notable companies and business people have sent them to DeNA, which are now flooding our lobby and the elevator hall.

We are hoping that our colorful and bright new office space will provide the ideal environment for fostering inspiration and innovation, so please look for more blog posts from us about upcoming game releases, cool in-company activities, and general information about DeNA.
