Worldwide Blockbuster MMORPG Goes Mobile and Social in the All-new MapleStory: Bokurano Boken

TOKYO, JAPAN - October 5, 2011 - Nexon Co., Ltd. and DeNA Co., Ltd. today launched the social mobile edition of MapleStory, Nexon's globally popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), in Japan, on DeNA's Mobage social gaming platform. Entitled MapleStory: Bokurano Boken (Japanese for "Our Adventures"), the new free-to-play social game is now available to users of Japanese feature phones throughout the nation. DeNA plans to offer the new title for smartphones as well.

The latest addition to the deep lineup of the world's best social mobile games on Mobage, MapleStory: Bokurano Boken is an all-new social game built from the ground up in the MapleStory universe, designed specifically for mobile devices. In the new title, players create characters and venture into the MapleStory-themed world and battle against monsters in collaboration with other players.

The original MapleStory, developed by South Korea's Nexon Corporation, is a PC-based side-scrolling action MMORPG where players develop their characters and explore a beautiful world full of thrilling combat and mystical, colorful enemies. MapleStory boasts over 100 million user IDs worldwide; localized versions provided in more than 60 countries and regions in Asia, North America, Latin America and Europe. MapleStory has more than 18 million registered players in South Korea and more than 4 million in Japan, 70 percent of whom are under 18.
