TOKYO, JAPAN - November 7, 2014 - DeNA Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 2432), a global leader in mobile Internet services, today announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2014. DeNA reported quarterly revenue of 36.0 billion yen and operating profit of 8.0 billion yen.
"Our quarterly financial results exceeded our guidance with both revenue and operating profit increasing quarter-over-quarter," said Isao Moriyasu, President and CEO of DeNA. "Our game business is gaining momentum in Japan and internationally with the launch of new native app hits. We will focus on maximizing the potential of our existing hits and also creating additional hit titles in the coming quarters. In the last quarter, we successfully launched our genetic testing service and also acquired two curation platform operators, making significant progress on our strategy to bring innovation to traditional industries.
