The alliance will combine DeNA's game development and operations capabilities with Aniplex's rich content catalog to bring great social games to Mobage users.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the first title from DeNA and Aniplex will be a Japanese-language mobile social game based on the popular Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime franchise. The game will be free to play with optional paid virtual items, and offered exclusively on Japanese Mobage for feature phones starting June 28, 2011. DeNA also plans to offer the game on Japanese Mobage for smartphones in August.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a social role-playing game (RPG) which will feature many of the beloved classic characters from the original Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime franchise. Players will perform "transmutations" to upgrade their weapons and to progress in the story, while they combat or collaborate with other players via the Mobage network. DeNA and Aniplex will also hold an in-game virtual event timed with the release of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood the Movie: The Sacred Star of Milos in July.
